Historically shirts were underwear for the bespoke coat or jacket, and weren’t designed to be seen in formal settings. In this day and age, a shirt has to hold its own. Each shirt is designed and cut specifically for you, to suit your shape, posture and style. We strike a balance between appearance and the need to allow for movement, to achieve practical elegance.
Replacement Collars and Cuffs
Usually the first parts of a shirt to wear through are the collar and cuffs. Instead of throwing away the shirt and starting again, we are firm believers in a more sustainable approach. Let us know if you would like us to replace the collar or cuffs of your Mostyn Lyons shirt and we can do our best to find a matching or complementary fabric.
Dress Shirts
Gearing up for an evening do? Whether it’s black tie or white tie, we’ve got you covered. We are also able to provide you with a stiff-fronted shirt, and separate wing collar, that has the appearance of a starched or ‘boiled’ shirt but is washable at home without the need for sending it away for laundering and starching.
